SyncBackSE and SyncBack Freeware
There are two versions of our SyncBack software: SyncBackSE, which is our award-winning
$30.00 software, and SyncBack freeware, which is free. The latest version of
SyncBack freeware is V3.2.14.
If you are a user of the freeware, be aware that SyncBackSE includes a number
of significant features that may be of value to you.

Windows 98, ME, and NT Support for SyncBackSE
Starting with V4.1, and in line with Microsoft's support policy, SyncBackSE no
longer runs on versions of Windows older than Windows 2000 SP4. If you are using
Windows 98, 98SE, ME, or NT 4 then the last version of SyncBackSE to run on those
versions of Windows is V4.0.

Files Fast with FindOnClick
Ever had to search
for a particular file but could not remember the file name or where
was kept? Here's the scenario: a couple of weeks ago you wrote
the perfect presentation document. As you were about to save it
distracted by a phone call and inadvertently saved the file to
the wrong folder. Now it's lost. You know the week you created
and the Word file extension name as ".doc". You know
too that using the standard Windows Search function will take far
too long. You need that document now, so you open FindOnClick,
enter the date range and file extension, then click OK. Within
25,000 folders have been scanned in your My Documents folder and
FindOnClick presents a short list of .doc files. It takes another
10 seconds to scan the list and double click the file you're after.
FindOnClick lets you search for files on any NTFS or FAT (FAT 12,
16, 32) partition, including hard drives (internal and external),
floppy disks, flash cards, Smart Media (SM), SONY Memory Sticks,
IBM Micro Drives, Multimedia Cards (MMC), Secure Digital Cards (SD),
and Zip disks, etc.
FindOnClick also offers a wide range of methods when searching. In
addition to searching by file extension and date, search by specifying
the file's path, the size of the file, the attributes of the file,

Hi, my name is Vitaliy
Evstigneev (pronounced "Yevstighnieyeff" - a familiar family
name in Russia). I'm part of the software development and customer
support team at 2BrightSparks. In our modest but bright
company we all multi-task, so you can't say for sure where someone's
end and another's start. My background is in software development
and I have used different technologies in a variety of industries.
gaining my master's in engineering (Aviation Technologies) I decided
not to be a rocket scientist, but to do what I really like most -
so here I am. I started working with 2BrightSparks less than a year
after being invited for an interview by Richard Gascoigne and Michael
J. Leaver. I immediately liked these people and the good news was
they seemed to like me too. They invited me for a second interview
later, this time at a local bar. Informality and hard work go hand
in hand in our company.
I work on some of the OnClick Utilities (TrayOnClick, ScrambleOnClick,
and FindOnClick), participate in SyncBackSE testing, and work on internal
projects related to our software licensing database.
Developing good quality applications for different operating systems,
different environments and different versions of Windows is quite
a challenge. I like what I do and the company where I work. "Quality
improvement" is one of our company's catch phrases, and I'm glad that I'm a part of this
process (I don't like things half-done, I'm a pretty straight-forward "black-or-white-no-halftones" kind
of person). Every product that we develop is dedicated to you, our
customers. This is why your feedback is treasured by us. We appreciate
of you take the time to communicate via our contact form, support
ticketing, and forum, commenting on the features of our products,
us when something doesn't work as you anticipate. So please continue
to say what you feel in your technical support tickets: I'm always
there when you suggest a new feature, throw light on something that
is not immediately obvious to you, and to help you find a solution
when it's not immediately apparent.
Our company's virtual office works out pretty well for me. We hold
many of our meetings in different places - often via Skype. I really
like my home office which helps me to concentrate at the time I choose.
This style of work is a good fit with my other hobbies: ice hockey
(yes, there is ice hockey in Singapore); gymnasium; windsurfing, and
sometimes - cooking for my friends (all my colleagues are among them).
I could keep on talking, but I must stop here and thank all users of
our software for their loyalty, especially our licensed customers!
