on how to enter your software serial
number

SyncBackPro
The Quick
and Easy Guide to Licensing SyncBackPro
Open
your order confirmation email that
contains your serial number and highlight
it. Do
not try to manually enter the serial
number as errors can easily be made.
Copy your serial number
(hold "Ctrl" and "C"),
then run SyncBackPro which will automatically
paste it into the appropriate place.
You then only need to click the "OK" button
to license the program. Congratulations! SyncBackPro
will now be licensed and the evaluation
version
unlocked.
A
user that bought SyncBackPro without
upgrading
will have
one serial
number: a SyncBackPro serial number
beginning SBPR.
A user that upgrades from
SyncBackSE will have two serial numbers:
their SyncBackSE serial number (beginning SBSE)
and a SyncBackPro upgrade serial number
(beginning SBPU). SyncBackPro
will recognize whether SyncBackSE
is installed so most SyncBackSE licensees
will only need to enter their SyncBackPro
Upgrade
serial
number.
If you have purchased an upgrade license from SyncBackSE to SyncBackPro, but have uninstalled SyncBackSE, you will need to enter your original SyncBackSE serial in addition to your SyncBackPro upgrade serial. Note that SyncBackSE does not need to be installed to license the upgrade. You need only copy the SyncBackSE serial, then copy the SyncBackPro upgrade serial to license SyncBackPro.
Step By Step Licensing
Instructions
SyncbackPro Licensees
If you are currently running
the evaluation version, close down
the program making sure it is not running
in the background, and also that it
does
not have a schedule task that is about
to commence.
When SyncBackPro first
runs you will see the following window.
Note how there is only one text field
to paste your serial number:

SyncBackPro
automatically recognizes what serial
number that is on the clipboard
and will paste the appropriate serial
number into the text field.
The following screenshot
shows the single SyncBackPro
serial number (not upgrade) entered into
the text field:

Click OK and SyncBackPro
will be licensed.
For SyncBackSE to SyncBackPro Upgrade Licensees
For those SyncBackSE licensees who have not uninstalled the program, the SyncBackSE serial number will be automatically entered into SyncBackPro.
If you have uninstalled SyncBackSE, locate both your SyncBackSE and SyncBackPro serial numbers, copy one of the serial numbers and SyncBackPro will show a dialog asking you to copy the other serial number into the remaining field.
Note in the screenshot below how the SyncBackSE serial automatically appears in a second text field if the serial number is detected. The SyncBackPro serial (either upgrade or full) then needs to be copied onto the clipboard and that will automatically be copied into the top field:

The
window will now show both your SyncBackSE
and SyncBackPro upgrade serial numbers:

Click OK and
SyncBackPro will be licensed.
How to Copy and
Paste
How to copy
and paste your serial number/s:

button before your serial number
and continue to hold the mouse button

the left mouse button drag your mouse
right so the entire serial number
is highlighted (if there
are two serial numbers in the clipboard
SyncBackPro will automatically recognize
both the SyncBackSE and SyncBackPro

button once so the serial number
continues to be highlighted. |

Hold down and keep
the "Ctrl" key pressed
(the "Ctrl" key is often
located on the lower left of your
keyboard). |

While keeping the "Ctrl" key
pressed, press the "C" key. |

Run SyncBackPro (the
Serial number will be automatically
pasted into the appropriate field): |

(if the "OK" button cannot
be seen then the serial number has
been incorrectly entered): |
Note also that the Lost/Forgotten
Serial Number button is not available
once a correct serial number has been
pasted.
Congratulations!
SyncBackPro
will now be licensed and the evaluation
version
unlocked.
Trouble Shooting
Issues to check if
you are still having problems:
• Ensure
you have downloaded and installed the
current version of SyncBackPro
• The
Serial Number may not have been copied
to the clipboard successfully. Try again.
• Ensure
your system clock is showing the current
date and
time.
• SyncBackPro
is already validated. Go to the program
"Help" > "About"
menu item to check
• Your
system has blocked access to the clipboard.
In that case, type
it in carefully. Note that the letter “O” is
not used – only zeros
