Upgrade install error - drive or unc share does not exist or is not accessible

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE/Lite.

Upgrade install error - drive or unc share does not exist or is not accessible

Post by lyndeelu » Wed Jan 09, 2019 5:29 am

I have Syncbackfree (8.5.5.0 - 32 bit) installed on virtual 'F' drive from which it is happily backing up to a couple of other drives.
In attempting to upgrade to 8.5.97.0, after agreeing to the licence terms, I then get a pop up error advising " The drive or UNC share you selected does not exist or is not accessible. Please select another".

I have tried to install from my 'downloads' folder and I have also tried copying the setup file into the folder in which syncback is currently installed and running successfully.

Can anyone provide advice please on how to address this problem.
