Photos damaged after mirroring

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE/Lite.

Photos damaged after mirroring

Post by Apolinaire » Sat Oct 06, 2018 9:08 pm

Hi,
I always had this issue with SyncBackFree, some of my photos are damaged after mirroring. The last ones were mirroring with SyncBackFree 8.5.62.0 (I've just downloaded 8.5.90.0 this evening). About 5 to 10% are affected.
This issue affects only my RAWs and not my JPGs. My RAWs are from a Nikon camera and are .NEF files.
The mirroring is done from my computer to another computer through wifi.
All other files (photos or not photos) are correctly mirrored.
My operating system is Windows 10 Pro 64bits.
Herafter are some examples. What do you think about that?
Thanks for your interest

Hi,
After checking, this issue also affect my JPG files... I looked at the properties of an original file and its copy after mirroring and they are exactly the same ! Particularly same number of bytes.Intriguing...
Nota: I display the photos with the same software on the two computers : FastStone Image Viewer.
