SyncBackFree V9.0.5.0 released

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

SyncBackFree V9.0.5.0 released

Post by mickyj »

We've released V9.0.5.0 which fixes a few things:

- Added burger menu, shared settings and help button on profile config window when "Windows" style used
- The profile panel (Run, Stop, etc.) appears below menu when it's configured to be at the top of the window
- The "Errors" page on the main window now appears correctly when the errors count is clicked when a profile is running
- Uses less (now zero) CPU (and disk usage) when idle
- The log file entries for zero warnings etc. are easier to read
- Updates the display better when pausing and resuming many profiles at the same time
- Various translations updated
- Various other tweaks and fixes

Enjoy!

Hi, I am happy because part of previous UI came back :) Particularly, my list of groups and profiles is displayed again on 1 screen only. Thanks for your reactivity. We can definitely forget version 9.0.1 with no regret.

I encountered a little bug in the difference window when executing a profile : when you display for instance the filtering tab, you need to click twice on the "continue execution" button to launch synchronization.

And don't forget, if possible, the 2 options suggested in my previous post on 9.0.4 version

Finally, I noticed, even if I didn't monitor time precisely, that speed of synchronization process has been increased. Great !

Hi, we've fixed it for the next release. Which 2 suggestions are you referring to? Thanks

since the last update i actually liked the panel that came up with the graph visually showing progress... i can't find the option for turning that on when a profile is running...

also is there any way to be able to choose between the larger interface style and the current one? when V9 came out i actually really enjoyed that look :)

Hi, below are the 2 suggestions concerning the difference window displayed after launching a profile :

1/ The « tab » part of the menu is hidden. You need to click twice to activate the filtering options (to show the ribbon and then to show or hide some files). It would be great to give the ability to let this tab part shown or hidden like in Microsoft Office with its pin option (the "v" button on the right of the menu line)

2/ There is no way to totally hide the detail panel. Even if you slide it totally, it remains a little part. As the list is widely sufficient, it would be great to add the ability to hide it (in the same way as in suggestion 1 ou 2a for instance)

Thanks

Hi, 1) we may add this in future (to pin the bar), 2) this has been fixed for the next release. Thanks
