Before posting, and to avoid disappointment, please read the following:

  • This forum is not for 2BrightSparks to provide technical support. It's primarily for users to help other users. Do not expect 2BrightSparks to answer any question posted to this forum.
  • If you find a bug in any of our software, please submit a support ticket. It does not matter if you are using our freeware, a beta version or you haven't yet purchased the software. We want to know about any and all bugs so we can fix them as soon as possible. We usually need more information and details from you to reproduce bugs and that is better done via a support ticket and not this forum.

Support for our freeware

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

Support for our freeware

Post by Dave Wilkins »

SyncBackFree, like SyncBackLite, SyncBackSE and SyncBackPro, has a Technical Support Wizard. This can be used to supply 2BrightSparks with detailed information, via the online support system, to help resolve problems with the software.

However, please note that users of SyncBackFree are not entitled to any technical support from 2BrightSparks. Technical support is only provided to users of our commercial software and not for any of our freeware products. Any questions about our freeware should always be directed to this public user forum. Please do not submit a support ticket, email us directly, or send a private message via the forum.

Before posting you should do the following:

- SyncBackFree comes with an extensive help file, so if you have a question or problem you should check the help file first.
- Check the searchable online knowledge base that has been built up over the years. It provides answers to the vast majority of common and frequently asked questions.
- Search the forum to see if your question or problem has already been answered - it is very likely it has.

Bear in mind the forum is for users and no guarantee is given that your post will receive a response from 2BrightSparks staff.

However, if you have found a bug in the software, freeware or commercial, then we'll be more than happy to work with you to fix it as soon as possible. If required, 2BrightSparks staff will provide you with details on how to use the Technical Support Wizard to submit a support ticket. For freeware issues, this would be at our discretion/decision and by invitation only.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
