Use LOG to exclude files / folders from future scans?

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

Use LOG to exclude files / folders from future scans?

Post by dgrrr »

Can I use the Log's "Warnings" and "Errors" pages to EXCLUDE some or all of the files / folders shown there?

IF not, can I request a feature to right-click on a failed file (e.g. a Cannot copy file (5): Access is denied" file) and select from "Exclude this file from future scans", or better, "Exclude the parent folder from future scans"?

Hi,

There is an option in SyncBackPro/SE ‘Include special links in the log file (HTML only)’ under: Modify profile > Expert > Log page. When this option is enabled, special links are added to the log file (Error, Skip, Warning section) so that you can click on the link and exclude a file or folder from your selections. Please read the help file > Log page for more details about this option.

If you do not own a copy of SyncBackPro/SE V9 and wish to test it's functions, you are welcome to try our fully functional SyncBack, which we offer a free 30-day evaluation.

SyncBackPro:

SyncBackSE:

If you do decide to purchase, the serial number will convert the 'trial' to the 'registered' version.

Thank you
