FoC Feature Request: Paste Folder Name

Postby fredradford » Fri Apr 11, 2014 9:30 pm

When trying to add a Path to FoC 2.5.0.0 it brings up a "Browse for Folder" on the root (at least the first time), requiring the user to enumerate the "Computer" which can take 30-60 seconds when there are USB and Network drives available.

Then the user must manually navigate down the tree to the folder they wish to add, which can take a lot of scrolling and clicking if it is very deep.

Why not allow us to paste in the directory name we want to go-to / add?

Thanks for your feedback, which has been passed to the development department for consideration

Hi, this will be in the next release. In the right-click pop-up menu there is a new menu item: Add path manually. You can also ctrl-click the Add Path link to do the same thing.

Return to “OnClick Utilities”
