Order of file movement

Post by nope »

Does anyone know in which order SyncBackPro v8 moves files? Does it move files newest to oldest or oldest to newest?

Thanks

Hi,

Could you please clarify why moving files in a certain order is important for your backup?

Thank you.

Using FTP to transfer files it is important for our data flow to have the ability to do so by newest to oldest or oldest to newest. Our work around is to use features available (e.g. Compare Options -> Date & Time).

Hi,

SyncBack copy files in alphabetical order. We have no plans to change the order, but I will pass your request to the relevant department for their review.

Thank you.
