
Known Issues When Using TrayOnClick
TrayOnClick is Beta Software

This section presents are number of known issues that affect the performance of TrayOnClick.

Issue |
Microsoft Office Excel 2003: if the internal client window (the book window) is minimized inside the main window, then clicking on the maximize title bar button does not result in any action:

Double click on the affected window's title bar to the left of the buttons to restore it. |

Issue |
Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003: if more than one presentation is open simultaneously, then minimizing any of it's windows to the tray will minimize all PowerPoint windows into one tray icon. All task buttons will however still appear in the task bar as shown in the following screenshot:

Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 uses a special non-traditional and undocumented type of management of it's windows. |

Workaround: |
Only open one presentation at a time, or add Microsoft Office PowerPoint to your TrayOnClick special settings and disable the TrayOnClick functionality for it.
How to disable TrayOnClick for a specified program
Run TrayOnClick, right-click the program icon and select Settings from the sub-menu:
Select the special settings tab from the window, click New, browse to the program you wish to exclude and select it.
In the example below FindOnClick has been chosen and the default exclusion option appears. Note how the checkbox Use TrayOnClick for this application has not been selected. Click OK and the chosen application will be excluded when using TrayOnClick:

Issue |
Microsoft Office Word 2007: if the "Minimize" title bar button is clicked, the program interface fails in a similar way to that shown in the screenshots below:

Add Microsoft Office Word 2007 to your TrayOnClick special settings and disable the TrayOnClick functionality for it.
