Q: What is the upgrade policy for SyncBackSE and SyncBackPro?

All minor upgrades are free, e.g. upgrading V5.1 to V5.2 is free.

If you purchased SyncBackSE V5 on or after 1st January 2010 then you can upgrade to SyncBackSE V6 free of charge. Simply download and install SyncBackSE V6. Your existing serial number will work. However, if you purchased SyncBackSE V3 or V4, or V5 before 1st January 2010, then you must purchase an uprade if you wish to use SyncBackSE V6. You can check to see if you can upgrade for free using the following web page:

If you purchased SyncBackPro V5 on or after 1st January 2011 then you can upgrade to SyncBackPro V6 free of charge. Simply download and install SyncBackPro V6. Your existing serial number will work. However, if you purchased SyncBackPro V5 before 1st January 2011 then you must purchase an uprade if you wish to use SyncBackPro V6. You can check to see if you can upgrade for free using the following web page:
