Win 7 x64 - SyncBack freeware V3.2

I hope to daisy chain 3 groups to run consecutively using the 'Program - Run After Profile' feature...

What do I enter as a file/path in the last Group 1 profile to start Group 2?

Thank You

Janenn

(Wrong post deleted Smile )

"C:\Program Files (x86)\2BrightSparks\SyncBack\SyncBack.exe" "Chained Group Name"

(assuming you have the program installed in the default folder)

Be aware that this will run that chained Group in Unattended mode (because you're running it from a command-line: it will open another instance of SyncBack to run it in the background, then close that background instance - same as if you ran it from a shortcut, a batch file or on a Schedule). The foreground instance will likely not display that it has run the profiles inside the chained group unless you refresh the display (F5) afterwards. It's not possible to view the progress of the profiles inside the chained group/s from the foreground instance. The same will apply (more so, if that were possible!) for group-3 if it's daisy-chained from a group-2 thus running Unattended already (a third background instance of the program will be opened, etc, etc)

Of course, if you are running the whole thing on a Schedule, you won't care

Thank you Dave,

Yes, SyncBack is in the default folder. And I do intend to run this as a scheduled backup...

I will certainly give your method a try...

Great program and terrific support!

Janenn
