If I sync a few directories from lets say my C drive to my D drive, does either the free version or the paid version only copy the files that have changed or does the whole directory get copied at the pre-determined time you set in the schedule.

What I am looking to do is just keep a few directories backed up like "My Documents" or my Palm data and email data.

Some of these directories are rather large and it seems silly to re-copy everything if I only made a change to one file.

SyncBack/SE will copy all files the first time, then only what changes on the following backups. Try it and see it free.
