Set up SyncBack to Always Copy
Is there a way to force SyncBack to always copy the files from Source to Destination?
I'm running Win XP 32 Bit and taking files off my network drive to my local computer.
I see the following two options, but am not sure if they'll do what I want:
1) Compare options --> Ignore file size changes
2) Compare options --> Ignore file modification date & time changes

Re: Set up SyncBack to Always Copy
Actually, by telling it to ignore size and/or date/time differences, you are making it less likely to copy (it will only do so if the files exist on one side only, and your settings permit it to react to remedy that). If you have filename.ext on both sides, it will only copy if the sizes and/or dates/times are different - and if you tell it to ignore any such differences, it will do nothing at all...
The SE/Pro versions have a setting whereby you can tell it to wipe the Destination before scanning (so that the files definitely don't exist there, thus forcing copying) but the freeware does not. You could maybe add one c/o Programs > Run Before Profile to call a script or batch file to do that.
