I am using both apple and windows. If you are going to have the software for both system, I would be happy to try it. Thanks.

There are no plans to produce a Mac version.

Sorry, but we can't produce a Mac version because: 1) we have no experience developing for Mac's, 2) we use Borland Delphi to develop SyncBackSE and Delphi isn't available on Mac's so we'd need to port to another language (which would be a major task), 3) after all the work I'm not sure we'd make enough sales to make it profitable.

Like the others, I'm a Mac + Windows user, hoping one of the bright sparks will also make the conversion and port this to Mac. I'm a paid owner of SyncBack and would pay a second time for a Mac edition. I think you'd be surprised how many of us are out there now... Mac users are paying users...

Mac Backup Solutions

Postby deilert » Sat Apr 09, 2011 3:10 am

I've been using SyncBackSE for over 5 years now - HIGHLY PLEASED and extremely HAPPY.

I, as well as many, would LOVE a Mac Backup solution from the folks at 2BrightSparks. The market has a number of very strange products that don't perform very well. In fact I've been burned multiple times. There is a huge market for you! You can start with all the existing customer base.

I know it would be a new development - I believe it would pay off. When I do a search for "syncback mac" in Google - it shows that others have searched for it before.

I'm also noting the google search trends on Syncback are trending down.

Pickup a whole new market! It would be awesome! :D
