Restore Help
I'm running SyncBackSE V5.9.4.0.
I created a backup profile and backed up my computer to a network drive.
I re-formated my computer and now I want to restore the files I copied to my network drive. The profile was erased when I re-formated the computer.
How do I restore the files from my network drive back to my computer? I know I can copy them, but I think there must be an easier way.
cheers,
Randy

I've moved this to the SE forum, which is where it should be (read the Ideas forum preface on main forum page as to why that was the wrong place
)
Getting back to your question - did you not Export a copy of your profile as previously mentioned here?

If not, and you formatted the old disk, you'll need to create a/the profile again from scratch (exactly as it was before) - and once you have, run it in Restore mode. This assumes the data is backed up in the same paths as are present now in the new OS (that is, that you backed up from the same OS as you have now on the new disk - otherwise the paths likely won't match anyway...)
