This may have been discussed before, but is there any possibility to auto update or push update to client installations? This is a major challenge if regular updates are made to the software but there is not regularly an admin user on the client machines. For example, if we are using the software to monitor a large number of installs, the functionality of the service and console should keep the admin from having to connect to client machines to check on and manage profiles. Some of the convenience is lost if they still need to connect regularly to update the client software. This of course might not be as big of an issue if V6 is not updated as frequently as V5. Seem to recall V5 seeing something like monthly updates? Can be a real challenge with a large number of seats.
The problem with automated updates is that they can't really be automated because of Windows security. Only an administrator can update software. If the software is installed somewhere else (not in the Program Files folder, like Chrome does) then we could update the files, but there may be other issues, e.g. COM registration wouldn't work without the user being an admin.
