Help with "do not show files"
I recently purchased FindOnClick v2.0.4.4. Congratulations on creating a fantastic program!!! I've been looking for this for years. Everything about it I've encountered so far is STELLAR, except...
I'm having trouble with searching for folders only. I do not seem to be able to view any folder search results no what the settings. (with or without files excluded) When I check "do not show files" I get 0 results, even with a search term I know should find results. I used "adobe" to test. In testing I tried search with nothing but name entered on main tab, no size, date, or other attribute qualifications (other than "do not show files"), all items on misc and columns checked. No results. No folders display - Windows search finds a couple of dozen folders on C drive with Adobe in the name.
I'm running Vista Home Premium 32.
What's the problem?
Thank you.

Hi
You're not by any chance entering your search term in the top box ('Filename filter') ?
That won't find anything because you've suppressed display of the files on one hand and asked it to show you files matching a criterion on the other. The result is 'nil to display'
Enter your search term in the Path filter box instead, and you should find it works OK. Does for me...
EDIT: Or, do a Search with files suppressed and no search terms at all (all boxes empty): it should show you every folder on the drive(s) selected (does for me)
