Hi, you can uninstall it the same way you uninstall any program in Windows, i.e. via "Uninstall a program" in the Windows Control Panel.

Also, which password are you referring to? There are many passwords in SyncBack, e.g. profile password, encryption password, etc.

To change planning for "Tasks". We lost the pass.( profil password)
Error message:
"An error has occurred while attempting to set task account information.
specific error
0x8007052e: Failed opening sessions: word unknown user or password incorrect pass. "

It is impossible to uninstall SyncBack via "Control Panel” / Programs windows/ uninstal ...

It is impossibe to delete the folder SyncBack folder "Programs"
The error message:
"This action can not be completed because the folder and any file or open in another program"

How to erase everything and return to a clean install.

IL est impossible de déinstaller Syncback via «Panneau de configuration / Programmes de windows.
Il est impossibe de supprimer le dossier Syncback du dossier « Programmes »

le message d'erreur :
« Cette action ne peut être réalisée car le dossier et ou l'un des fichiers est ouvert dans un autre programme »

Comment faire pour tout effacer et reprendre une installation propre.

Hi, the error (0x8007052e) is from Windows saying that your login password (for the schedule) is wrong. That is your Windows login password. It's not a password stored in SyncBack. It's the password you've set the task in the Windows Task Scheduler to use. Uninstalling won't fix this. You need to set the correct password or delete the tasks.

There are two ways to solve the uninstall if it's still running:

- Reboot Windows into Safe Mode and uninstall
- Run the Task Manager and kill the SyncBack.exe process then uninstall
