Huge ZIp file support

I see that Winzip 9 now has huge file support (>2Gb & > 65535 files). Is the technology proprietory - or could it be included in Syncback?. If it could - are there any plans to do so?

SyncBack uses the free Abbrevia library for compression. Once that supports it, then SyncBack will. I believe the maintainer of Abbrevia is going to include this. I don't have a timeframe for it yet though. Thanks.
