Although my first post here, but I have been using SyncBack

for 2 months and it saved me last week. I started using SyncBack when TechTV talked about it and I had just gotten a second larger hard drive (to edit home movies) and desided to back up MyDocuments folder to this new drive.

Well, I got a none recoverable Windows error and had to reinstall Windows on a clean C drive. Although it has taken me over a week to re install all my programs, I still had my Documents folder saved.
